Biography
Erica Tamez serves as the Director of Executive Operations at Visit Corpus Christi, overseeing Board Relations and Executive Project Implementation to support the organization’s mission of sharing Corpus Christi with the world. She ensures strategic alignment of executive initiatives, enhances organizational efficiencies, and fosters strong relationships with the Board of Directors. Prior to this role, she served as the Executive Assistant and Special Projects Coordinator for the Corpus Christi Downtown Management District and previously served in the United States Navy Reserves as a Master-at-Arms and Career Counselor for the NOSC Houston Guantanamo Bay Unit.
Erica is a graduate of Leadership Corpus Christi Class 49 and an honoree in the 2023 Young Professionals of the Coastal Bend "Corpus Christi Under 40" cohort. She was also recognized by the 2023 American GI Forum Hispanic Heritage Month Bus Wrap Program, honoring Hispanic and Latino veterans and leaders who have made a significant impact in their communities.
